Participate at the Chemistry Olympiad

So, are you up for the challenge? Are you interested in chemistry and want to meet like-minded people? If so, go ahead and be part of the Chemistry Olympiad.

1.

Who can participate?

Everyone born on or after 1 July 2004, going to a Swiss Highschool or vocational training school (or one from Lichtenstein respectively) can participate, as long as one is not immatriculated at an University.

When can one register?

Registration for the Chemistry Olympiad is now open. You can take the online exam until 13 October 2023. Click here to go to the exam.

3.

The exam

The multiple-choice test takes 40 minutes and can be taken online or on paper. Here you can find old exams to practise.

Zwölf experimentierfreudige Jugendliche wurden am 6. April beim Finale der Chemie-Olympiade mit Medaillen ausgezeichnet. Vier Schweizer und ein Liechtensteiner haben sich für die Internationale Chemie-Olympiade (IChO) in Saudi-Arabien qualifiziert.
