A total of 357 students participated in this year's Swiss and Liechtenstein Chemistry Olympiade. The 51 best students from Switzerland and thereof 6 from Principality qualified themselves for the very first preparatory weekend at the University of Basel at the end of November as well as for the Central Exam at the University of Bern in January.
Results
17.0/25.0 points were required to pass the first round of the Swiss Chemistry Olympiad 2020. This was achieved by 51 participants. The Liechtenstein competition asked for 8.0/25.0 points to advance. This was achieved by 6 pupils from the neighbouring country, which set a new record with 27 entries. We congratulate the qualified students and thank all students and their teachers for their participation!
Next Events
The qualified students will now travel to the very first preparatory weekend at the University of Basel (22.11.-24.11.2019) and to the Central Exame at the University of Bern (10.01.-11.01.2020), where they will compete for the highly coveted spots in our finals. We wish them every success!
